SATS at Changi has a huge waste treatment facility that’s State of the Art… they prepare airline meals for Singapore Airlines, and 20+ other international airlines, so there is a huge amount of food waste and scraps that are treated and disposed of daily.
The foul smelly odours from the waste treatment plant were being exhausted skywards through a 60 foot high exhaust stack. When the wind was blowing, a lot of that smelly air was blown directly towards Changi Airport, and that terminal’s air intake. Changi demanded that SATS fix this odorous problem.
ProMedUSA proposed that SAT’S installs one of our UV SG7000 PRO Ozone Generators to directly inject up to 7000 MG/HR of pure Ozone into the exhaust stack. Treating the odours at the source is a one of the most effective ways of utilizing the potent odour destroying properties of Ozone.
We installed the UV SG7000 Ozone Generator as shown, and the odours were quickly eliminated, both to SATS and Changi’s satisfaction.
